Pennington Foundation announces Project Play
The Irene W. and C.B. Pennington Foundation is partnering with the Aspen Institute to conduct research on youth sports through Aspen’s Project Play initiative. This initiative has already produced transformative State of Play reports for 12 communities, offering valuable insights that will be applied to Baton Rouge as well.
Yo-Yo Ma to perform with BRSO in Great Performer Series
Pennington foundations underwrite Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra’s Great Performance Series. It will celebrate 25 years with Grammy winning cellist Yo-Yo Ma in 2024. Timothy Muffitt will conduct.
The performance is sold out, thanks to people who support the arts in our region. The series draws new listeners to the BRSO.
